I met Bruce Montague and his wife Donna at the Saskatoon Firearms Seminar this spring. They are a nice supportive couple. Bruce can perform in public, has a brain, and strong values. He is younger than the mostly retired individuals who are choosing to openly and peacefully resist the Firearms Act.
The Federal Government has been systematically blocking CUFOA member's attempts to challenge the Firearms Act to the higher Courts. The right of access to the Courts (if you feel your rights are infringed by government law or action) is a much bigger issue than just gun ownership. All of the CUFOA activists I have met are the type of people you would be lucky to have as next door neighbours. Count me in for $500 for Bruce’s defense fund.
