Bruce spoke at two meetings in Toronto April 8th and 9th. Friday night was an informal presentation to a mixed group of supporters and opponents of Bruce's stance on guns and liberty. Donations totaled $110 and Bruce got some practice helping anti-gunners to develop clear thinking on the issues.
Saturday morning's meeting was strategically located in Sharon Gun Club's busy dining room with hot breakfast being served. Everyone was well-fed and in a positive mood as Bruce delivered a clear and passionate talk about his bid to strike down the Firearms Act.
There was strong interest in Bruce's case and discussions of how to get wider publicity. At the end of the morning dontations totalled $4,670 and many promised ongoing support.
